[ok this is a closed role play for hollywoodstar and i only.]

the sky was a powerdy blue colour today, clouds hovering in the sky, seperating from each other like thickly coated mist. the bright sun was shining down on the young friesian colt's ebony coat, making it gleam in the morning light. the colt by the name of 'raven' trotted around, eager to fish out a new friend or some sort of companion to accompany him on his future journies. hopefully, if he did get one, they wouldn't abandon him sooner or later after they grew up. rearing up on his hind legs playfully while a whinny escaped from his slightly-parted lips, hooves pawing the air while his dilated nose inhaled the fresh, frosty air. landing quietly with an almost audible sound, raven started to move forward, heading in the direction of the trees. below the leaveless trees, crisp and crunchy leaves lay beneath it, with many flaws. although the scene was quite pretty as snow dribbled from the branches of the trees onto the leaves. moving forward, his small hooves danced across the leaves gently, causing his hooves to get chilled as they touched the cold, snowy leaves.

Rose's hoofs thundered on the ground while she was trotted along the grass. In the distance she saw another foal. She Walked around the foal but she didn't take any notice of him like he wasn't even there. He eyes glemed straight ahead at the fence. She thought He was a new foal to the area because she hasn't seen him befor in the padic.Along the fence a old man walked over to the it food and water bowl he filled it up with food. Snow flaked were falling from the sky onto Rose. She snorted, She galloped over to the shelter where it was warm. Her eyes watered from the snow flakes falling into her eyes. All of a sudden her lips started to do purple and Rose started to shiver. She could hear something comming towards her and you could hear the foot steps on the ground. It was the man he came to come cover Rose up because winter was comming. Rose wathed the snow flakes come down from the misty sky and the leaves from above her were frozen solid.

coming to a steady halt once he appeared out of the leafy floored forest, raven pricked his ears as he heard the sounds of another horse and hopefully it was friendly! snowflakes fell down and settled onto his jet black coat, making him look absolutely magnificent. noticing small filly mare, being rugged by a... HUMAN?! fear jolted through him like he had been zapped by a line of electricity or barbed wire had torn off his skin, the colt bounced backwards, ears disappearing into his mane in threat. humans were a big threat in his life and he was about to step out of the borders of the wild horse life and into the paddock of the human horse life in which he was not very keen on. shivering in envy as his eyes rested on the filly's rug, he immediately wished he had one to to stop him from chattering and freezy life crazy. shaking the snowflakes from his mane and pelt, raven pawed the the snow-covered grass and lowered his muzzle to snip at it lightly and to his surprise, the grass was reasonably chewy, cold and it had frozen pieces of ice in it still. spitting it out in horror, raven watched his breath come out in puffs of mist, evacutating into the air after a couple of minutes. he backed up into the trees, trying to keep warm. sending out a small nicker to the filly, the colt sat down and curled up, tucking his nose against his chest.

Rose felt sorry for the colt so she rose, Streched her legs out and sat next to the colt. Rose stood up and galloped over to the fence where the old man was standing. On the fence there was a horse coat so she grabbed with she teeth and speaded it over. She snuggled up to the colt and rested her head gently on his stomach. Rose tucked her hoofs under her and snorted softly, her eyes shinned like a diamond. When she started to driff off to sleep She heard a BANG! she quickly stood up and tucked her ears under her mane. It was thunder roaring from the sky. Rose shook her coat off and started to shiver again, all of a sudden her lips started to go purple and she quickly snuggled in to the warm cozy corner with raven. She started to warm up untill it was morning.

briefly through his dazed senses, he could feel movement and warmth radiating from his body, and then, there was another being beside him, curling up to him - either to keep itself warm, or him - gently. crackles of loud noises flickered through his ears and suddenly he felt too weak and cold to open up his eyes and look around for the source of disturbance. so he drifted to sleep.. off into the world where his dreams began until morning..

jolting his eyes open, raven looked around, suddenly feeling much warmer. the snow had melted into the grass, creating dew drops to settle peacefully while the sun crept back, slightly warming the area up. beside him was another being. it was that same filly he had saw in the paddock and she was sleeping peacefully beside him, breathing even and calmly as if she were matching her timing with his. raven shifted his eyes over to the paddock he saw her in right before he settled down and became unaware of his surroundings - which could've been very dangerous for a young colt like himself - he realised that she must've jumped the fence, been let out or slipped under a broken railing, but the fences were all in flawless condition. raven looked over at the filly and decided to stay still in order not to wake her, so he gazed around, eyes settling onto a rather dirty-looking house where smoke puffed from the chimney heavily. it let off an awful odour, but it didn't really bother him. suddenly, raven's eyes caught on something, a bucket.. full of horse mash. stomach grumbling in response to what he was seeing, the colt quickly forced his eyes away to keep himself from running over there like he had lost his marbles and eating all of her food in one tremendous mouthful.

She woke up and she looked straight ahead and it was raven. She trotted quietly over to the colt, She had seen that the snow has melted deeply into grass. So she kept walking untill she reached raven. After she was standing there for a while rose headed to the other direction where the gate was. She bent her head down and started eating the grass. A few minute's later a young man about in his 20's came into the paddick, As he shut the gate behind him he came running up to rose and he had rope. He got the rope onto rose's and and he tryed to pull her foward but she got out of the rope. He was still chancing after her she looked at the fence and thought This is my big chance to jump so she galloped towards the fence and she made it after she was over the fence it looked like he was going ater raven.

squealing in fear and horror as rose jumped the fence unbelievably and the man came for him, the rope swinging above his head, creating the sound of sharp wind. neighing while his ears flattened against the nape of his neck, raven eyed the fence, shying sidewards as the rope was flung at him, aiming to fall around his neck. he had never jumped a fence before, the highest he had gone was probably a 20cm log that had fallen over in a recent storm while he was travelling through the forests. maybe this filly was setting him up because she had been with a human before.. maybe she was trying to lure him into the paddock so they could box him in a capture him. after all, they hadn't exactly spoken in english to each other, just small horse communications. 'help!' raven yelped in fear, charging forward with little courage and vaulting himself into the air, just over the fence and into the paddock, hooves scraping against the metal gate, causing a squealing sound while his back thighs collided with it, causing him to fall directly down in pain. staggering to his feet, the colt cried out in pain, tears cascading down his cheeks while he limped over to the filly painfully, eyes full of agony that he contained.

Rose galloped over to the colt and she finally spoke to him 'Are you okay?' she said.'I am so sorry i never new my owner would plan to do this i promise it was nothing to do with me.' She said with fear. Her eyes stared to water because he was hurt badly. She didnt know what to do on the other side of the paddick there was a male horse that he wasnt a foal he was a grown up horse. Rose galloped over to the horse and asked for help. She explained how he got hurt, There was heaps of fear in her heart she thought he was going to pass away or they will not see each other again for the rest of he life. She really liked the colt even though she hasent met him yet. She just felt he was a caring foal.

'its ok,' the foal grunted, head twisting around to observe the wounds. there was a huge scrape on the bone of his thigh, blood filtering down, not daring to slow to a trickle while he thought he might've dislocated the other, or just sprained. somehow, his heart told him that rose didn't intend for any of this to happen, although he didn't exactly favour horses alike rose - domesticated horses. eyeing the gelding over where rose was heading to, his teeth bared and he stumbled backward, but only to cause himself critical pain. eventually collapsing into the grass, raven whimpered in pain and started to lick his wound, sniffling slightly.

Rose saw the drops of blood run down his leg with pain and fear. She could see his heart beat going fast. His eyes were gleaming at rose and after a while the gelding gallpoed off to his herd. The gelding fixed his sore's up and after a while he will be better but her will keep limping and he will still have pain in his frount two legs. The colt was in really bad pain but he had to stand it for a while untill it is heeling up. The blood was still running down his leg so rose went and got a green leaf and whiped it dragging the leaf with her teeth. A few hours later he was still laying there and it started to snow so rose helped him get away from the paddick because they didnt want to see that man again. So they walked off to try and find some shellter to rest and sleep.

eyes glinting while shiny tears dripped down his face, raven was cautious around the gelding as he put some herbs on his wounds but relaxed as rose helped him wipe the blood from his legs. standing up with help, he placed his head over her back gently to help himself be able to stand properly. 'thank you so much.. i'm raven by the way.. who are you?' the colt asked gently as they walked over towards the shelter within the paddock. maybe the other human was nicer and would help him.. or maybe the old man was in on this to.. but he seemed gentle and caring with the filly, then he left. stomach rumbling, the colt growled back at his stomach but in a horsey way. weakly, he sat down and rubbed his muzzle against his gash, it had stopped bleeding but it was tender and sore. 'i can't tell you how grateful i am,' raven said politely, nuzzling the filly's neck in appreciation as his eyes showed many hints of care and honesty.

Rose sighted mysteriouly, Fear was running though her vains like warm blood. Rose seemed she was afraid of something but she didn't no what. Rose accepted ravens kindness, Rose seemed she was afraided of the future. "What if that man comes back and trys to get us again?" she said in a scared voice. As she waited for ravens reply she just remembered that she left her coat it the shed in the paddic. They were both freezing for a while but she thought to herself we can stay like this forever we'll freeze to death. Rose was thinking should she go back or should she not. She didn't want to leave raven alone but also she didn't want to get hurt like she nearlly did last time. She mind was tricking like a clock. So she made up her mind. She decided to..... go over there. Rose's heart was pounding with fear but she had to do it she asked raven where his coat was. Of course she new were hers was in was in the shed when she took it off. "I'll go get mine and then i will go get yours raven" She snorted. She quietly jumped over the fence and walked silently into the paddic and grabbed her coat with her teeth. All of a sudden the young man came out. rose quickly hid behind the tree, the man looked around for a few seconds and then he went back inside. She tryed to look for ravens while she was there. rosse looked at the gelding and he pointed to the coat. Rose whispered "thank you" Then rose galloped off to the shelter where raven was.
