Olivia At The Stable

Olivia sighed as she groomed her pinto mare, Starlight then rested her head on Star's back, sighing

Lucas sighed contently as he walked along the gravel, a quality leather halter dangling in his loose grasp. He raised his eyes from the ground as he approached a tall, wooden fence. He lent on it lazily as he placed two fingers on either side of his mouth, a piercing whistle breezing through the air. Twas silent. A puzzled expression crawled onto his handsome face as he waited expectantly for his chestnut Quarter Horse mare. He slightly shook his head, his hair flopping into eye's view before he whistled once again, smiling faintly as he finally heard a whinny of reply. He watched as a streak of dark brown appeared through the thin trees, failing horribly for any sort of shelter, unless one lied right underneath one. The mare burst through the trees and cantered gracefully towards him, eying the halter and lead rope.

Olivia finished grooming Starlight then tacked her up, opening the stable door she led her out. Olivia wasn't new to the stables, but she knew no one, but she didn't really care. Olivia vaulted onto Starlight as she took the first step of canter, finding the stirups easily then, they jumped a paddock fence[the paddock next to wher Lucas was..]and they cantered towards the back of the paddock

Lucas smiled contently as his outstreached hand meet the mare's velet muzzle. He could feel her light blows of breathes calmly hit his hand. After a short moment, he took his hand away. The mare brought her head to Luca's worn jeans pocket and nudged it eagerly, in search of treats. Lucas chuckled. "You know me all to well." Lucas murmured as he pulled out the white clump of sugar. The Dark Chestnut pricked her dandy ears and nibbled the sweats from the boys hand.

after getting half way across the paddock Olivia slowed Starlight to a steady, even trot

Lucas lead his palomino mare, (I'm changing her colour soon) True Sunshine across the gravel once out of the spacious pasture. He tied her up before strapping on the western saddle and gently putting on her matching bridle, ajusting it until perfect. He pulled her legs then put on his cap. They said he had to put something on his head...So there you go. He mounted his mare then nudged her into a large arena, full of bright and slightly rusty barrels.

Olivia turned Starlight around and nudged her into a canter, glad she had put her western tack on and they jumped the fence then she turned her, slowing her to a tot then rode towards one of the trails.

Lucas warmed his horse up by walking her around the sides of the arena. Once he was certain that she was ready, he nudged her to a canter. He nudged her on constantly until she was a fast as she could go in a canter, she circled around the barrels with pricked ears.

Olivia slowed Star to a walk as they reached the trail towards the beach

Lucas felt True Sunshine tensing from underneath his body and skidded her to a halt, grains of arena sand flicking out from underneath her hooves. She snorted loudly then reared. Lucas calmed her then turned to where the noise was coming from. Oh no. He mustn't of latched the gate proberly, because the horses were galloping down the gravel, towards the track theat lead to a pretty beach. He clutched the rope that neatly hung off his saddle then urged his mare to a gallop after them.

Olivia arrived at the beach and she stopped Star then dismounted her and petted her, she then walked over to the water, wih the mare follwing her

Lucas looked over at the horses in front of him, he was gaining. Yet he only had one rope....Their was only one stallion there, the most expensive and magnificent here too. If he lead that one away durely the mares would follow, but he would be hard to catch. He kicked True Sunshine on and cursed as the beach became in view.

Olivia heard hooves and she turned, seeing the horses, she then vaulted onto Star, nudging her into a gallop over to them, skidding her to a stop infront of the stallion, which made him stop, which made the other horses stop, she then dismounted Star, grabbing the long rope, forming it into a bridle with no bit, swinging the 'reins' over his head she vaulted onto him, then turned him and walked around the horses, Star next to her and the stallion and she glanced behind and saw the mares following, she then passed Lucas and smiled"your welcome"she said then looked forward, leaning over and petting Star then petted the stallion.

3...2...1... Lucas counted down. Soon after, the stallion screamed and reared, its heavy hooves pawing at the air. He flared his nostrils and pinned his ears. Lucas slipped another rope around the stallions neck then madeTrue Sunshine jumped back, making the stallion follow.

Olivia sighed and jumped off the stallion, she could tell the guy knew that was going to happen, she looekd at him then ran over and vaulted onto Star, whih she half reared, turning and galloping back to the stables...

Lucas frowned. "That was poilite...." Lucas murmured whilst calmly stroking True Sunshine's elegant neck. He clicked his tounge and made her canter, forcing the stallion on. The other mares followed the frisky stallion with nickers.

Olivia groaned and clenched her teeth as she dismounted Star, holding her right arm, her face obviously showing pain then she walked to the stable with Star beside her..

Lucas felt True Sunshine move uncomfortably from underneath him. He blinked then tightened his grip on the rope, feeling the stallion rear. He dismounted and noticed that his mare was limping.

Olivia untacked Star with one arm then pu the tack away then locked the stall door and sat down infront of it, holding her right arm again

"Thats just bloodly wonderful." Lucas scolded. He put True Sunshine's reins around the back of the saddle, though the long reins were still loose, then soflty tapped her rump. She squeled and unevenly cantered off. Lucas sighed. "Shes lame." He muttered to herself then watched her leave, knowing she would return to her pastures. He struggled to get the strong stallion back.

Olivia saw Lucas's horse and watched her...huh?

True Sunshine returned to her pasture as if nothing had happened. She rolled with a grunt, trying to remove of her tack.

Lucas sighed heavily, he had a show coming up, so he obviously have to cancel it. He was suddenly spun around as the stallion put his strong head at his muscled chest, then turned and tried to bolt away. Lucas kept his grip on the might stallion, though he slightly moved through the dirt.

Olivia got up, ignoring her arm then went and took the tack off the mare and put it away..

Lucas finally harshly thrusted the stallion around. He dragged him all up the trail. Sighing in relief as he finally reached the stables. He gave the horses lead rope a hard tug, making him throw his head up as he finished rearing.

Olivia watched Lucas and sighed softly
