The Pony with No Rider

Daisy stood in her stall with a snort. She flicked her tail and saw the stablehand walking towards her her and she pinned her ears, baring her teeth she looked quite threatening. The stablehand back away but eventually came towards her again and she bit him so hard, drawing blood. The stablehand yelped, jerking away. He stared at her with a glare then with a grunt he went to hit her and Daisy snorted and striked at him again and she scrambled away, as far as possible from the violent mare. Daisy snorted, glad to be alone.
After a girl, leading a chestnut pony, glanced at Daisy with caution she put the chestnut pony in the stall. She then rushed out, locking the stall door before Daisy had time to nip her. Instead Daisy lunged at the chestnut pony, only to be stopped by the wooden walls and the pony shying away from her. Her ears flciked back again and she bred her teeth. She back ed away with a frustrated neigh and the girl unlocked the stall door, fumbling with the lock and then managed to clip the lead rope onto the chestnut pony's halter and ran out the stall with the pony following, more then grateful to get away from Daisy.

Alicia walked up the the office and looked over at the secretary who was busy typing on the computer. "Uh.. excuse me? I'm Alicia Smith and I'm here for the monthly horse riding thing." She said, unsure of what else she could've said.
The secretary didn't look up from her computer but stopped typing and started clicking, she nodded briefly and her jaw was set grimly, "You are assigned to Daisy. She is in stall 8." The secretary said, glancing up at her for the first time briefly before turning back to her work.
Alicia nodded, wondering what the secretary's problem was. She walked down the wooden stairs to the stable corridor and looked at the numbers on the stalls, walking slowly down the corridor as her eyes drifted along the numbers, searching for number 8. Alicia found it and her eyes halted, drifting downwards to a white pony who stood in her stall, looking slightly distressed. Fortunately, she was able to miss the previous scene the pony had put on. The girl walked over to the stall, her eyes laying on the gorgeous pony. Alicia halted infront of the stall, "Hey gorgeous girl," She murmured softly and leaned on the door, outstretching her arm to the pony curiously.

Daisy looked up at Alicia and she snorted, ears pinning, teeth bared, threatening the girl. When she didn't move Daisy lunged at Alicia, grabbing hold of Alicia's hand in her jaw Daisy snorted when the stablehand who she had bitten just before came rushing over, smacking Daisy square on the nose and Daisy jerked back in surprise with a snort. She sneezed, shaking her head and she niehged in frustration. She shook herself, shaking away the shock of being hit so hard and she pinned her ears at the stablehand.

Alicia swore under her breath in pain as the pony's teeth sank into her hand. She think she had broken a finger. It was burning like bad and stinging too. Alicia could feel the pony's teeth scraping over her finger's as the stable hand whacked the pony. "Thanks," She muttered and balled her hand into a fist to try and releive the searing pain. This was going to be tough, working with a violent pony for the whole month. She would've actually preferred to of had a reasonably friendly pony. Alicia looked back over at the pony and winced.

Daisy snorted, turning around and she kicked the stall door so hard the hinges broke. Daisy turned around, lashing at the two so they moved away and she pushed the stall door open. She may be violent and strong but she was also smart. Daisy walked out, everyone scrambling away from the mare. Daisy snorted in delight and once she got into the sunlight she looked around and saw someone left the gate open and she sped into a gallop, out the gate and down the road, staying on the side though

Alicia flexed her fingers and walked over to where she had seen Daisy walk off. She sighed and leaned against a wooden rail, watching the mare, sadness noticeable in her eyes. She was hoping that she would've gotten a horse that she was able to ride, not one she would never get to ride during this whole month. She sighed quietly and grabbed a magazine that was on the table and walked into the paddock, starting to flip through it.

after a while Daisy came back with a snort. She stopped at the gate, shaking her self off and she walked back in, walking over to nearby grass she started grazing, flicking her tail with a snort She tore at the grass, relaxing.

Alicia could hear the pony coming back and looked up with a bright smile across her lips. She grinned and stood up, flipping the magazine shut. She stood up and walked over to Daisy, "Here girl," Alicia crooned softly, grabbing an apple that was sitting on the table.

Daisy raised her head and eyed the apple. She pricked her ears and walked over to Alicia and took the apple, biting into it, breaking part of it off and eating the part..

Alicia smiled and walked towards the pony slowly, gently stroking her pure white cheek. "Well, your a pretty thing now aren't you? Calmed down a bit?" She asked softly and continued to gently stroke her while she nibbled on the half apple that was still in her hand.

Daisy nickered softly, eating the rest of the apple. She looked at Alicia then felt someone watching her and looked over at the stablehand who she had bit and had hit her. She pinned her ears with a snort. She stomped the ground with her hoof and flicked her tail stubbornly.

Alicia glanced behind her at the stablehand who had helped her but also had whacked her pony. She took a step closer to Daisy protectively and ran her fingers through her tangled mane, releasing the knots.

the stabelhand grunted and walked off.

Daisy pricked her ears as Alicia stood infront of her... Maybe she was different to everyone else.. Daisy only got frustrated because before these people bought her her old owners had abused her....[true too]

Alicia fingered Daisy's halter a bit and looked around, walking over and grabbing a lead rope. She walked back and attached it to her halter, clicking her tongue, "Come on, girl! Lets go wash your dirty coat," Alicia said and walked forward a bit to see if she would follow.

Daisy snorted, her ears falling back slightly but she followed Alicia.. She flicked her tail then a blacxck gelding tried to nip her rump and she pinned her ears and kicked him in warning. not hard just to make him back off.

Alicia chuckled as she turned around too watch Daisy lash out at a gelding. She petted her cheek gently and continued walking towards the washing area

Daisy looked back at Alicia and she nickered uncertainly

Alicia tied up Daisy and walked over to get some shampoo, conditioner, a sponge and a bucket of water. She grabbed the shampoo and started rubbing it into her coat, making it turn a pretty, pearly white.

Daisy pawed the ground impatiently. She then snorted and pinned her ears as Alicia came near her face with the sponge

Alicia decided not to do Daisy's face since she seemed a litte uncomfortable with it. She only had a smear of dirt on her left cheek. She would get it off later. Alicia rinsed off the shampoo when rubbed in thoroughly.

Daisy relaxed as Alicia left her face and she turned her head and watched Alicia and then she snorted. Daisy jumped as a cat jumped from the roof, landing on the ground, hissing and running off.. Daisy shied at the sudden movements and she jerked back, jerking the lead rope and it yanked her head back down.

Alicia dropped the hose and grabbed onto Daisy's halter lightly, "Whoaa.." She murmured soothingly and gently petted her cheek. Alicia watched the mare, hoping she would calm down.

Daisy snorted and she calmed down. She looked at Alicia and then she suddenly shook herself, getting water all over Alicia. She whinnied in laughter and flicked her tail
