Sydney and Fido in the Snowy Forest

Fido licked Sydney softly as he woke up and she stayed asleep he sighed very softly and padded off to find some food whilst leaving Sydney to sleep. In The Snowy Forest they now lived in it was better for them but harder to find food so Fido went off every morning before his daughter woke up to get food.

Mia happily pranced through the thick, cold, snow. She giggled as her paws lightly bounced off the snow and into the air, her strides wide. She skidded to a halt as her front paw disappeared under the now thin ice, freezing water below it. She quickly pulled her paw out then slowly backed away, hearing a quiet crack.

Devil sprinted through the forest of trees, panting. He glanced back quickly then sighed of relief, yet he couldn't be too sure. He slightly slowed his amazingly fast speed and caught his breathe. They were loud and desperate for air. Once his lungs were happy he carried on again. His thick yet silky coat made him hot and uncomfortable.

Fido lowered his ears slightly, hearing something then crouched low and stalked closer to it then stood straight when he saw Mia and lolled out his tongue slightly

Sydney woke up and stretched then when she didn't see her father, Fido she leapt to her feet and ran off to find him, looking from side to side frantically then crashed into Devil, falling backwards

Mia looked up at Fido, automatically distracted by the unknown dog. Another crack came, louder. She yelped as she fell into the freezing water, the ice moving away from her and it was too thin to hold. She shivered and struggled to stay up, her body was too cold to move....She couldn't...Her body was numb and she couldn't feel anything but the cold.

Zed growled as he found himself on his back. He looked forward with his ears back, teeth slightly bared. He stared at the dog and stopped growling, yet wondering if she was a threat.

[Devil]

Fido bolted towards Mia, jumping in the freezing water, shivering as he swam towards her, gripped the back of her neck in his jaw and slowly dragged her to shore, making himself move so he wouldn't drown too then pulled her far away from the thin ice and laid her on the ground"are you alright?"he asked

Sydney yelped and scrambled to her feet"I-I'm so sorry!"she apologised, i'm looking for my father, i can't find him anywhere"

Oh my bad.]

Mia shook her saturated coat, freezing water flying in all directions. She shivered furiously and nodded to Fido. She swallowed hard then sneeze, water getting sent up her nostrils.

Devil stood up and looked at her, returning to a more relaxed position. "OK. Well I don't know either sorry." He said and slightly shook his coat, it now positioned in all directions. He chuckled slightly then tossed himself once again.

Fido smiled"Well that's good to hear"he said, his coat still dripping with freezeing, ice cold water

Sydney smiled slightly"well, again, i'm sorry"she apolagised again then nodded"gotta go"then she bolted off to find Fido again

Mia smiled slightly then looked away, who was he anyway? She slowly stopped shivering and she slowly felt the numbness fade away. "Thank you." She said faintly, still in shock from the freezing cold water.

Devil watched her bolt away. He sighed quietly, that was probably the most company he was going to have for a while. He turned around and bolted, not wanting to risk anything...He wasn't letting them get any advantage in finding him.

"I'm, Fido, by the way"Fido said and bowed"and who may you be, pretty lady?"he rised and his expression was soft and caring

Sydney didn't get too far away from Devil when she skidded to a stop and yelped then whined, lowering her ears ears in fright as she slowly looked up into the dark eyes of a very angry bear and scrambled backwards as it roared loudly

[Fido and Mia are way too far away to hear the bear]

Mia smiled slightly. "Mia." She said taking a deep breathe, when she had fallen in the water it almost felt like her circulation had been cut. She bowed her head slightly then repositioned herself, now on her stomach.

Devil heard a yelp then a roar, picking up the pace. He suddenly paused then skidded to a halt, the yelp. He turned and bolted to the source of the noise, eventually seeing them both through the thick snow that blew past him in the wind, limiting his view.

Sydney took a few steps back away from the bear then the bear swung it's huge paw around, hitting her and sending her flying into a tree and she tried to stand

Devil snarled as he leaped onto the huge bear, biting through its thick and busy fur. He felt a strong pain rip through his back and he dropped to the ground, omfing as he hit the huge layer of snow. He quickly stood and dodged the huge paw that was heading towards him.

Sydney finally got to her feet and stared at the bear and Devil, why was he doing this for her?

Devil snarled again then bit deep into the beer's paw as it was swiped towards him, being flung with it but he hung on.

Sydney jumped then growled, baring her teeth and leapt at the bear, her legs landing in it's bent knes and she used them to jump higher and clung onto the bear's muzzle, biting down hard and drawing blood

Devil watched the beer fling itself backwards and yelling in pain, both of the dogs falling with the large creature. He yelped as he felt impact from the ground, followed by half of his body being crushed by the animal.

Sydney growled, pressing harder then let go of the animal nad grabbed onto Devil and managed to drag him from underneath the bear then leapt onto the animal, growling and baring her teeth then gripped onto the side of the bear's neck, so if it hit her it would hit itself along with her

Devil jumped up quickly then sprinted onto the bear's chest. He scraped it harshly with his claws then moved to his face, biting into his already damaged muzzle. He tasted blood on his teeth, running down onto his tongue.

Sydney looked at Devil then ripped out the flesh from the bear's neck. She was scared by doing this stuff to the bear but she wouldn't give up right now....if she let her fear take over her she'd freeze. Like now when the bear got up and glared down at Sydney and she stared up at it in fear, the bear was trying its hardest to ignore Devil as he lifted his huge paw then swuing it at Sydney, his claws scratching her side deeply and sending her crashing into another tree and she blacked out

Devil growled then dug in his teeth into the bears muzzle, now hanging in the air and his grip the only thing keeping him up. Blood was overflowing in his mouth and dripping onto the pure white snow, panted with drips of red.

the bear collapsed to the ground, exhausted

Devil suddenly felt himself falling forward. He quickly let go of his grip, shocked as he bomfed onto the bear's chest. He shook his head, exhausted, . He slowly walked off the bear then lay down, inches away from the blood that he had caused, it sprinkled in a large patch on the snow.

Sydney coughed and opened her eyes and tried to stand but fell to the ground and she looked at Devil

Devil looked back at her, looking away within moments. He let his head rest on his quivering paws and concentrated hard to relax.

Sydney slowly managed to stand and shakily walked over to Devil and licked his muzzle lightly"thank you, for helping me"she said and sat down
