Link, wants to claim Enchanted forest

Link galloped into the Enchanted Forest and reared, neighing loudly and pawing the air. He wanted to claim the land. He would claim it. Link landed on the ground and looked firmly back at his small herd. Made up of 2 stallion and 4 mares.Stallions- he and Zelda. Mares- Midnight, Sophia, Mary and the newest addition he ust got, Liberty. He forced all the mars to join him. But he didn't care.

Zelda trotted up next to Link"are you sure you want to waste your energy, fighting, Link?"he asked

Link nodded"of course"he said

Midnight, Sohpia and Mary stayed in a group, away from Link, chatting amongst themselves

Liberty was the furthest away from the small herd, she had tried to escape before but Link always brought her bacl. She missed Lightning, and wanted to go back to him...

Lightning threw upp his head as he heard the distant, challenging neigh. He snorted in fury then nodded to Life Lived, who nodded in return. He then bursted into a full gallop along the uneven ground, at a great speed that would tire a lesser horse in a minute. He bellowed in return of the call, he had fought so hard just to get his herd here, he wasn't giving it all up. He pinned his ears back across his thick skull as he kicked out continuously on his way to the stallion. His eyes finally caught onto Link and he bellowed once more, it strong and threatning. He lifted his front hooves off the ground menacing with bared teeth, looking as strong and mighty as ever. He pawed reclessly through the air before he landed with a loud thud, grass getting ripped and pulled to death. Lightning glared at the stallion in await.

Link saw Lightning and hesitated a moment before he pinned his ears and reared, pawing the air, when he landing he spoke"My name is Link. And i am here to fight for this land. If you shall loose, i get the land. f i shall lose,I shall walk away, and you may take my herd."

the mares pricked their ears at that and watched, looking over at Lighning

Zelda took a step back as he watched the mighty stallion, Lightning


Liberty saw Lightning and pricked her ears, pawing the ground and nickering to hm, he once was her mate...until Link took her from Lightning'g herd with him noticing.

Lightning's eyes set on Liberty before returning to the stallions, his eyes streaked with increasing anger. "So we shall fight. But just so you know dear friend, I show no mercy." Lightning replied with a proud, threatning yet calm tone in his voice.

Link snorted"neither shall i"he said

Lightning snorted in mocking laughter. "We shall see." Lightning said with a recless toss of his well bred head. He turned in face of both the stallion's destination then moved into a full gallop, one that would tire a lesser horse within minutes.

Lightning then returned to where the both stallion's had exited, as he said, he was returning back to his much larger herd. Even though his white coat was covered in sweat and blood, it was worth it to just recive that feeling of victory. He neighed out proudly, his herd would know that neigh, and know he was alive...And the once again, proud king of the land.

Zelda pricked his ears at the sound, but realised it wasn't Link, he lowered his head, sad...he felt betrayed

Liberty heard then neigh and pricked her danty ears

Lightning galloped proudly through his lands. He halted at the stallion, he had never liked any other stallion besides him and Life Lived, he would have to earn his trust before finding a place in his herd. "Now." Lightning said, looking over at all the other new members of his herd. "Lex was defeated, and if you don't mind me saying, destroyed." He explained proudly.

Zelda sighed softly then raised his head"He died proudly. Didn't he?"he asked softly

the mares neighed happily. Except Liberty. Othe then Cj, she didn't like others being killed.

"Of course, as he should." Lightning answered, nodding towards the stallion. He returned his glance to the mares, focused on LIberty. He had wondered if she had left, or she had been taken.

Zelda smiled"Then I should not be upset"he said, pricking his ears

Liberty met Lgithning's eyes levely and took a step towards him, befoe stopping, what if he thought she had left and was angry at her...

"Now enough about him, you shall meet your new herd." Lightning said with a slight nod. He looked down at his blood covered legs, from when they entered the horses chest.

Zelda nodded and pricked his ears"yes, sir!"he said

Liberty watched Lightning then lowered her head

Midnight, Mary and Sophia appily grazed side by side

Lightning returned his gaze to the small herd of mares and one stallion. He snorted slightly, but kindly as he turned and trotted towards where he knew his herd would be anoxously grazing.

Liberty raised her head nad watched Lghtning...then she watched the oher three mares watch him then follow him, followed by Zelda, then Liberty herself trailing behind them..

Lightning slightly slowed, aching from his short battle, it seemed as though the most tirering thing was the travel back to his lands.

Sohpia nad Mary played with eachother whilst going to he other herd whilst Zelda had caught up to Midnight and were happily talking together

Liberty watched Lightning the whole time whilst going back to the herd but stayed at the back of the small group

Lightning moved into a canter as the familar scents of his herd grew strong. He neighed out a warm greeting in return. He watched Life Lived jump over a large, hedge like bush as he cantered quickly towards him.

Life Lived was filled with excitment, he couldn't bare it, he hadn't seen him in such a long time. "Lightning, I see you have bought newcomers." Life Lived said, slightly calming.

Sophia and Mary stopped playing and halted, looking at Life Lived

Midnight, as usual, her face was bland, but her eyes showed she was happy to be away from Link

Zelda pricked his ears as he saw Life Lived

Liberty looked at Life Lived and smiled slightly

Life Lived examined the others closely, starting at the stallion. He was amazed of the stallion, Lightning would usually never accept it. His eyes then widened as he looked at one. "Liberty?" He asked with great curiousity.

Light swished her tail impatiently as she waited for the others to return to where the herd grazed.

[Liberty knows him doesn't she?or not?]

Yes, from when she was in the herd.]

Liberty smiled at Life Lived"yeah it's me.."she said, slowly walking towards Lightning nad Life Lived

Life Lived grinned then nuzzled her, not affectionately, but just in welcome. Lightning done the same, but slightly more affectionate. They both turned then walekd through the dense bush, leading to where the rest of the herd peacefully grazed.
