Leah smiled sweetly and pressed her lips to his. "Night" She whispered. Letting her eyes fall shut the girl slipped into welcomed sleep.

Jace laid next to her, cuddling her softly. He watched her carefully. After a while, Jace decided to try and sleep. The boy closed his eyes and hummed a lullaby.

{Next day}

Leah tossed in light sleep as the sun peeked through the gap in the curtains. Her eyelids fluttered open as she yawned and stretched. She kissed Jace on the cheek and headed into the bathroom. The girl washed her face and pilled her hair up into a bun. Tip Toeing out she headed into the kitchen and started to cook breakfast. The aroma of bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms and toast filled the air as Leah set the table.

Jace felt something touch his cheek and his eyes flickered open slowly. The boy sat half up in bed and glanced around to find that Leah wasn't in the room. He got up out of bed and walked sleepily into the kitchen to find Leah putting food on the table. Jace sneaked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her body, kissing her neck and resting his chin on her shoulder. "This smells good," he muttered.

The girl squeaked in surprise before realising who it was. “Morning sleepy head” She said, straightening the forks on the table. Turning to face him she motioned towards the chair. “Take a seat, it will be ready in a minute” Leah headed over to the stove and poke at a piece of bacon, thinking about today. Check the horses, feed the horses, need to put fresh shavings in the stall for River, go get River and. . . my day so far She blinked several times and turned off the flame, emptying the contents of the pan onto a plate she headed over to the table.

Jace chuckled and sat down obediently. He looked around the cabin type house and smiled. The boy waited patiently for his food to come and smiled. This was the first time someone had cooked for him in ages. Jace thought about how Pride was doing, if he was okay.

Leah smiled sweetly at Jace as she took a seat opposite him. The girl winked at him and stabbed at a piece of bacon, attempting to put it onto her own plate. Rolling her eyes she picked it up with her fingers before spooning some eggs, mushrooms, sausages and two slices of toast onto her plate. "Coffee?" She asked, picking up the pot and offering some to Jace.

Jace smiled up at Leah and looked down at all the food. He wouldn't be able to eat all this. The boy picked up a piece of toast and scooped some of the eggs onto it. He placed a rasher of bacon next to his toast and started to eat. "No thanks, I don't drink coffee," he told her with a small smile and kept eating. Normally the boy ate healthy but he had to be good and eat when food was placed under him. Jace glanced up at Leah "Are we going to see the horses soon?" he asked. Jace wanted to see how Pride was handling it.

Leah jumped up from the table, her cheeks blushed a light pink. "Sorry, I just assumed that you drink coffee" She opened the fridge and pulled out Orange juice, Iced Tea, Milk and a jug of water. She balanced them in her arms as she kicked the door close and putting the jugs in the middle of the table. Leah sat down and finished her meal before speaking. "When you finish go check on Pride" She paused. "I'm going to have to put Sniper into the stall next to Pride for a few days, is that ok?" She looked at Jace with bright blue eyes and smiled sweetly.

Jace smiled and poured himself some orange juice, "Its fine," he muttered. He finished eating and sat back in the chair. He watched Leah quietly and smiled to himself. "I'm sure Pride won't mind having Sniper next to him," he grinned. The boy watched his girlfriend with his dark brown eyes. Jace glanced at the time and turned his attention back to Leah.

Leah wiped her mouth with a napkin and started stacking the dishes on top of each other. She smiled to herself and thought about the foal. River. The girl continued to contemplate things as she headed over to the sink and rinsed off the plates before loading them into the dish washer. "Ok" she said turning to Jace. "Now, we can go" She picked up her jacket and headed out the door towards the stables, pausing to wait for Jace.

Jace smiled and followed her. At her side, he grabbed her hand and kissed Leah's cheek softly. He looked towards the stables and saw Pride hanging his head over the stall door. He chuckled and smiled towards Pride. The boy whistled and saw the stallion prick his ears.

Leah winked to Jace before heading over to Sniper who was neighing to her, eager for attention. "Morning boy" The girl said opening the stable door. The stallion took a step back and waited patiently before lipping at the girls hair. "Her gorgeous" She said giving him a kiss on the cheek. After she checked him over Leah left the stable and headed to the feed room. Half way through mixing the stallions feed her phone beeped. Frowning she pulled it out. "Bringing stallion around at 5. Needs work, full of beans. Good luck. Bay TB. Love John" The girl groaned as she finished Snipers feed off. Feeding her horse she headed over to Pride's stall.

Jace moved towards Pride and smiled "Hey big boy," he muttered and opened the stall door. The horse nudged him eager to get out and run around "Sorry for not letting you out last night, it was too cold," he told his horse. The boy ran a hand across the horses back, starting at the wither and ending at his rump. He ran his hand down the hind leg and picked his horses foot up "Hope you didn't get up to anything boy." Pride turned his head around to watch the boy. He nickered quietly and waited. Jace seemed satisfied about his horse and smiled.

Leah stopped half way to Prides stall and turned around. She grabbed a hand full of grains and shoved them into her pocket. "See you later boy" She said patting the stallion on his forehead. The girl quickly gathered her things and an apple for her later. Leah thought for a moment before heading back to Prides stall. "Hey" She said to Jace softly, leaning on the stall door.

The boy turned around and smiled "Hey," he muttered and brushed a hand through his hair. Jace slipped out of the stall and into the tack shed to get Pride's saddle and bridle. He placed the saddle on Prides back while he put the bridle on. He heard a car pull up and someone walking towards Pride's stall. A girl appeared and looked at Jace "Your mum wants you," she smiled. The boy glanced at her "What does she want me for, Elanor?" he asked and went back to tacking up Pride. One he had finished, he looked back at the girl. "She wants to show you something," Elanor said and walked away. Jace sighed and clicked his tongue. Pride snorted and started following him out to where the car was parked. His mum was standing by an empty opened float. When he stopped, she clicked her tongue and moved forward. A beautiful blue roan filly followed her and pricked her ears towards Jace. "I got you a new horse," his mum laughed.

Leah watched as Jace spoke to the girl then followed her. She laughed when a loud neigh rang through the stables. "Come boy" the girl said, she grabbed a lead rope on her way and opened the stall door. The stallion nodded his head happily as Leah mounted bareback. She patted his neck before applying slight pressure on his sides. "Lets go have a look shall we". Out in the car park there was an empty float, a woman and a little roan filly. Leah kept her distance but watched with curious eyes. Sniper nickered loudly to Pride and the girl hushed him.

Jace's mouth dropped as her saw the filly "She's beautiful! What's her name?" he asked. He walked over to her and stroked her neck. Pride stayed where he was and snorted. "Her name is Hollie and her show name is Sacred Moon," his mum said, smiling. The boy smiled and took the lead rope. Clicking his tongue, he led the filly towards Pride. She kept her head high and her eyes were bright. Pride looked bored or almost sad. Hollie pranced forward and touched her muzzle to his. The stallion opened his mouth and went to bite her. Jace frowned as the filly squealed and backed up.

Leah smiled and watched the filly. She was gorgeous. Sniper nodded his head and snorted, welcoming the filly. Leah slid her legs back and the stallion collected himself, it was safer, Leah has more control when he is collected. The girl stayed quiet and just watched but Sniper wanted attention. He pawed at the ground and paced on the spot lightly before neighing loudly. Leah shook her head and laughed. "You silly thing"

Jace hit Pride over the muzzle "Don't!" he told the stallion. He realised the filly prick her ears at Sniper and chuckled. He started to lead Hollie over to Sniper. Hollie nickered a greeting and trotted towards this stallion. The boy glanced up at Leah and smiled. Pride stood with his ears pinned back, watching the filly. "She is so beautiful," he muttered.

Leah nodded, "Yes, she is simply stunning" The girl watched as Sniper stretched his head out towards the filly, he snorted before gently lipping her muzzle. She laughed softly and watched the stallion as he shook his head and sniffed at Jace before turning back to the filly. "I better go take Sniper to the paddock and go pick up my filly" She smiled at Jace and glanced towards the others.

Jace nodded and smiled "I will see you later," he muttered and clicked his tongue at the filly. Hollie pricked her ears and followed the boy. He walked towards his mum and smiled "I love her," he muttered. His mum smiled "She is still a little green, you will need to teach her things," she told him "Hollie is fine with tack and everything, it's just jumping and stuff like that." The boy nodded and glanced at Pride "I was going to ride him but he seems grumpy," he muttered and glanced at his mum "I'm going to put these guys away," he muttered. Jace led Hollie over to Pride but made sure they weren't close enough for biting. He clicked his tongue and Pride started following him.

Leah smiled as Sniper sniffed the filly and lipped at her forehead before she moved him into a walk, as she past his mother and sister Leah tapped the brim of her hat and continued on down the drive way. She thought for a bit and looked around. Ahead the street with a few cars, behind her, the stables.

Pride flicked his ears back to be pinned against his neck. Jace flicked the lead rope at him and frown "Enough of the grumpiness boy, I still love you," he muttered and kept walking. He halted both the horses at Pride's stall. The boy tied him up there and stroked his neck. "I'll be back to ride you Pride," he pulled out an apple piece and handed it to him. The stallion carefully took it out of his hand. Jace clicked his tongue at the filly a led her over towards an empty stall, not to far from Pride. The boy tied her up and grabbed some bedding for the stall. He put a hay bag in and water. Clicking his tongue, he led the filly into the stall and unclipped the lead rope. Jace gave her a small pat "Hope you like it here," he muttered and walked out, closing the door behind him. Hollie pranced towards the door, hanging her head over it and nickered towards the boys back. She priced her ears and snorted. Jace turned and laughed then kept walking towards Pride.

Leah headed down the road until she came to a dirt drive way leading up to a huge house. She raised her eyebrows and clicked her tongue, moving Sniper into a strong canter. She glanced around at the paddocks full of Arabians grazing with their fine dished foreheads and high held tails. They came closer to the stables and Leah slowed Sniper to a walk. "Hello?" The girl called out. Another boy appeared from behind the stables leading a gorgeous Chestnut Arabian Filly. Leah jumped off Sniper and smiled. "She is stunning" She said walking towards the filly. After paper work being signed and money paid Leah lead the frisky Filly as she rode back towards the stables.
