Zarana arrives

A cool breeze swept past, brushing Zarana's dark forelock from her expressive eyes. She stepped neatly over a few mossy logs, and managed to keep her footing as she trotted over some slimy rocks. Her fine ears were pricked forward, and she was eager to see what this place was like. She sipped for a moment at a small stream, and paused to look about her surroundings. She rested her hind hoof lazily, relaxing under the bit of sunlight that shone through the trees. She started forwards again happily.

Life Lived snorted anxiously as he trotted impressively through the wet soil, his small hooves slightly sinking with every stride. He raised his dished head, his tail following as he caught a scent, mare. He pricked his ears as he wondered if she was in Lightning's herd, curiosity pushed him on to where the smell lingered.
