New Arrival: Shanon & Lone Arrow.

Yawning, Shanon opened his eyes and stretched in side his car. He opened the door and stepped out and walked around to his float and dropped the ramp and back Lone Arrow out for a stretch before they continued on there trip to find a job at a Ranch and hopefully being able to board there for a while. Once Shanon had rode Lone Arrow around for about an hour he loaded him back up and drove on. Coming to a Ranch's drive way he turned down it slowly and drove up to the big barn. He parked the car and hopped out, looking around he didn't see anyone. "Hello? Anyone alive around here?" he asked, trying to be funny at the same time.

Lone Arrow enjoyed the ride his owner gave him. Once they had stopped again he stamped his hooves, he didn't really want to be cooped up again in there for a while. He nickered out to Shanon he wanted to be let out.

Karly galloped out of a trail with Sonny on her back. Sonny saw Shanon and turned her mare towards them, her natrual caramel hair flowing out behind her. She stopped Karly infront of Shanon and dismounted"hi"she said with a smile. She was the only person on the ranch with Karly and the other horses. Ever snce her parents passed away the ranch was handed down to her. She ran a hand through her long hair casually and petted Karly on her neck.

Shanon saw the pair and smiled as Sonny dismounted off Karly. "Hey, I was just wondering if it would be okay if i could get a job here and board?" he asked glancing around the beautiful area.

Lone Arrow stomped his hooves again he wanted to get out, he could hear his owner talking.

Sonny smiled"first get your horse out and then we can talk"she said with a sweet smile. She walked over to an empty paddock, opened the gate and untacked her mare then watched her gallop in. She smile and shut the gate, locking it, she sat on the fence, watching her mare for a moment before watching Shanon and glancing at the trailor.

Shanon chuckled then jogged over to the trialor and let the ramp down he walked inside it and untied Lone Arrow then opened the rump clip and let Arrow back down the ramp. smiling he patted his stallions neck then he put the ramp back up once Arrow was off it.

Arrow nickered happily at Shanon, he nudged him a thank you for letting him out. Snorting softly he looked around.

Karly saw Lone Arrow and she galloped up to the fence, stopping as her chest touched the gate and she nickered to him, throwing her head in the air happily

Sonny smiled and jumped off the fence and then walked back over to Shanon and Lone Arrow, she held out her hand for Lone Arrow to sniff her then she petted him with a smile. She then looked at Shanon"so you want a job here?"she asked"how much do you want an hour?"

Lone Arrow sniffed the girls hand back, he nuzzled her gently. His ears pricked at the sound of the mare. He spun around and nickered back to her. He smiled at her.

Shanon shrugged. "How ever much you want to give me. I honestly don't mind!" he said, looking over at the girls horse.

"awesome"Sonny said"How's $25 an hour?"she asked..for being a stablehand it was a alot but she had the money spend with her family sending her money left right and centre... She didn;t know what else to do with it.. She didn't have a car either so it was hard to go down to buy food seeing as the town was basically 45 minute drive away...

"Thank you very much." Shanon replied gratefully. "Oh, I'm Shanon by the way!" he said, smiling at her. He turned and gave his stallion pat as the stallion pranced around and tugged on his lead wanting to see the mare.

Snorting softly, Lone Arrow gave up pulling on the lead, his owner was about to budge. Sighing he stepped back to Shanon's side then pawed at the ground from boredom.

"I'm Sonny"Sonny said"nice to meet you, Shanon"she smiled and then glanced at Karly"come on"she said softly"lets let these two meet eachother."and with that Sonny turned around and walked over to the paddock Karly stood impatiently in.

Shano chuckled then tugged on Arrow's lead then walke over to the paddock where the mare was standing. She was a gorgeous looking mare. Well thats what he thought anyway.

Lone Arrow pranced along, totally excited, he snorted softly then nickered at the mare then stretched his muzzle out to her.

Karly pricked her ears as she saw Lone Arrow. It was unusual, Sonny didn't really like her socialising with the other horses at the ranch but she never minded if it was someone else's horse...why..? Karly shook the thought away and stretched her muzzle towards Lone Arrow, nudging him softly and sniffing him as Sonny unlocked the paddock gate.

Lone Arrow smiled, "Hi. I'm Lone Arrow, but if you wish you can call me Arrow." he answered cheerfully. Swishing his tail out of boredom, Arrow sighed then looked at Shanon.

Karly smiled"I'm Karly"she said happily with pricked ears, it's a pleasure to meet you, Arrow." she then moved back as Sonny opened the gate

Lone Arrow nickered happily. "Same to you!" he replied. He watched the gate open with pricked ears, he walked along side Shanon as he lead him into the paddock.

Shanon smiled a thank you at Sonny then tugged on Lone Arrow's lead and walked him into the paddock he halted him and stood there waiting for Sonny.

Sonny walked into the paddock, shutting the gate behind her and locking it she then petted her mare, Karly with a smile then looked at Lone Arrow and Shanon and smiled warmly

Shanon returned then smiled, "So do you want me to just let him go in here with your mare?" he asked, kinda confused at this point in time.

Lone Arrow snorted and looked around with his ears pricked. Slowly turning he took everything in.

"Sure"Sonny said"it doesn't bother me. Karly needs some attention anyway."she knew what ould happen but she didn;t really care all that much

Shanon looked at her with a smirk. "Fair enough i guess.." he replied, then unclipped Arrow's lead rope from his halter. He watched the stallion canter off and check the paddock out.

Lone Arrow nickered happily when Shanon set him free. He bucked like crazy then checked out the paddock. He snorted like crazy then cantered up to Karly and sniffed her.

Sonny smiled as she watched Lone Arrow then looked at Shanon and smiled slightly

Karly pricked her ears, watching the stallion then as he came over and sniffed her she sniffed him back and nudged him softly

Shanon sighed then walked over to the gate, he let the horses be. He glanced back at Sonny then he opened the gate and let him self out. He looked around at the barn and smiled, it was a cool place.

Arrow smiled at Karly, "So do you live here then?" he asked curiously.

"yeah"Sonny replied"this was my parents' ranch."she glanced at Karly and Lone Arrow then walked over and climbed over the fence

Shanon smiled, "Oh cool as!! Sooo, where are your parents now then?" he asked curiously.

Lone Arrow shook his coat then nudged Karly playfully and then pranced off.

Karly cantered after Lone Arrow, ears pricked and nickering

Sonnt looked away"they passed away"she replied softly

A wave of gulit pasted over Shanon's face, he was sorry he had asked the question now. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that... So do you have any other horses here that you work?" he asked trying to change the subject.

Lone Arrow snorted happily and checked out every area of the paddock he was in.
