New Arrival: Shanon & Lone Arrow.

Sonny smiled and nodded"yeah there are about 20 other horses here but i never really get a chance to get to them all.."she replied

"Oh yep. Well now that I'm here i could help you excise them and look after them." shanon said, with a smile. "What have all the horses done? Like what did they get used for?" he asked, being all curious.

"hm well there are 5 thoroughbreds here for racing"Sonny said, gesturing over to a paddock which held 1 chestnut, 1 palomino, 1 black, 1 white and a pinto thoroughbred"then there's 4 quarter horses, 3 are for show jumping and the other is a barrel racer"she gestured to a paddock which held 1 grey, 1 bay, 1 buckskin and a roan quarter horse"there's 1 shire, who's used for helping moving stuff so he doesn't get ridden, only worked and lunged"she gestured to a paddock holding a huge black shire"2 andalusians who are dressage horses"she gestured to a paddock which held a white and a black adnalusian"2 lusitanos one is show jumper other is dressage"she gestured to a paddock which held one dunand one white lusitano"2 kiger mustangs who are just pleasure horses"she gestured to a paddock holding a bay and a buckskin kiger mustang"one friesian who is dressage"she gestured to the same paddock as the shire which held the black friesian"one florida cracker who is used for trailing riding"she gestured to the kiger mustangs' paddock which held an unusually coloured florida cracker"and last but not least two arabians who are endurance racing horses"she gestured to the paddock which held an unusual coloured arabian and a black arabian"oh and we have a white thoroughbred filly too"she nodded over at the thoroughbred's paddock where a bright white thoroughbred filly paranced around

Shanon looked around with his mouth open. "Wow they are all so gorgeous!" he replied, breath taken. He smiled and just stood there shocked. He had never seen such beautiful horses in all his life.

Sonny laughed softly"yes. They are, aren't they?"she said, more to herself. She stretched her hands above her head and her eyes randomly drifted over all the horses

"Can i go meet them?!" Shanon asked, still shocked. He sighed, then smiled again. He stood there awaiting Sonny's reply.

"sure"Sonny said"follow me"she smiled and then walked off, two paddocks down to the thoroughbred's paddock. she opened the gate and waited for Shanon to go through before she followed in and shut the gate behind her.

Shanon followed along happily and then nodded a thank you at her when she opened the gate and let her in. He glanced around at the Thoroughbreds, they were all so gorgeous. He smiled then shot a look at Sonny then headed over to the 4? TB's.

Sonny smiled and she whistled. The first one to arrive was the chestnut Thoroughbred who was tall, even for a thoroughbred. He pricked his ears and nudged Shanon, playfully."That's Jagger"Sonny said"Or Jagger Run in the races. he's still young and has only been to a couple races but in them he has came 1st or 2nd."
The next one who came up was a light palomino mare who stood a couple metres away from Shanon"That's Missy, she's not used to strangers.. Missy's Winner is her racing name."
The next one to come up was a black thoroughbred mare who came straight to Shanon with pricked ears and she half reared with a neigh"that's Otomi, she's very playful. Her racing name is Otomi Never Loses...which isn't true"she laughed softly
the second last one to come was the white mare and her white foal. The mare, who was even taller then Jagger came up to Shanon and sniffed him whilst the filly pranced around him and her mother"that's Cloud and Naomi. Naomi was born about...hmm it'd be around a month ago now. Cloud's our quietest thoroughbred but she was born for racing."Sonny smiled as Naomi came up to her and she petted her
the last one to come up was the palomino paint stallion who snorted, pinning his ears at Shanon. He looked at Sonny, sniffed her and when she didn't have anything on her he turned around and galloped off"That's Fly. Or Flying Colours. He's Naomi's father and one of my most tempermental horses here."she laughed softly.. As Shanon said hello to all except Fly who didn;t let him touch him before he ran off Sonny turned around and opened the gate then let Shanon go through then she followed and shut the gate then walked to the next paddock which held the wuarter horses and she unlocked the gate, opening it and letting Shaon go through before she followed, shutting the gate and whistled again

Shanon laughed as Jagger nudged him, he patted the geldings nose and then Cloud's and Naomi's and Missy's. "Wow they are amazinf, your so lucky to have such cool horses!" he replied, as he walked out of the gate and then into the Quarter horses paddock. He smiled at Sonny then watched as the QH's came over.

Both the grey mare and bay stallion came up first, they both nudged Shanon, the bay nickering"The bay is Majesty and the grey is Silver"she said with a smile"they are both show jumpers."
the roan quarter horse stallion came up next and he snorted adn watched Shanon, he was in hands reach but didn't go to do anything to him"that's Silvester. he's a show Jumper. He's very cautious of not hurting anyone.."
the last one to come up was the unusual coloured quarter horse mare"That's Dandy, she's the barrel racer." Dandy nickered and trotted up to Sonny and nuzzled her before going to Shanon and resting her muzzle on his shoulder.

Shano patted each one. His breath was held, he felt as if he was just meeting a horse for the first time in his life. He grinned at Sonny, "They are pretty", he whispered as he chuckled as the horses nudged and laid there heads on him, he stroked there necks in turn. Careful not to miss any one of them. "So Cool!" he smiled.

Sonny smiled"ready to go see the others?"she asked and as Shanon nodded she opened the gate, let him go through, followed and shut it behind her"come on"she sad then walked to the next paddock which held the shire and friesian. she opened the gate and let him through. she shut it and then whistled. The gorgeous friesian mare trotted up gracefully"That's Grace"she said as the mare went up to Shanon, ears pricked and nuzzled him.
Suddenly the ground shook and the huge shire stallion galloped up to them, stopping dead set infront of Shanon.. Shanon hardly even reached the height of his neck and Sonny, who was a considerable amount smaller then Shanon barely reached the middle of his chest. But she wasn't intimidated at all. The shire suddenly laid down, rolling onto his back and Sonny laughed and walked over to him and scratched his belly"this is Jacob. he likes dogs so he tends to try to act like one."she laughed softly

Shanon rubbed the pretty Friesians neck then watched as the big Shire came thundering over. "G'day big man!" he said, reaching up to pat the geldings chest and legs. "Your huge!" he laughed, but he loved it straight away. He looked up and down at the Shire, its hooves were a bit smaller than a cars wheel. You wouldn't want one of them to stand on you, he thought. He lent over and scatched the horses belly.

Sonny smiled and as Jacob neighed he stood up, careful not to stand on anyone and he brought his big nose down and nudged Shanon playfully, but a bit to hard, making Shanon fall over, his ears flicked her and he lowered his head in apology.

Shanon burst out laughing while he was lying on the ground, he picked himself back up and kissed the Shires big muzzle, "Its okay big guy!" he said, patting his head and shoulder which he could only just reach. He watched how the shire was careful not to stand on any of them.

Sonny smiled"you alright?"she asked"Jacob tends to forget how strong he is.. because even though Grace is alot smaller she's strong and can take Jacob's strength.."she laughed softly

"Yeah I'm fine!!" Shanon replied, brushing some dust off himself. He smiled at Sonny then chuckled at what she said about the horses. "Its cool though, he would be good for pulling things then cos he wouldn't even know he had them attached to him with that kind of strengh" he said.

"yeah"Sonny said with a smile"ready to go meet the others, or do you wanna stay here for a while longer?"

as Jacob heard they might be going, he grabbed Shanon's shirt in his jaw gently - for him - - and tugged him towards him, careful not to make him fall. He then wrapped his neck around the boy and snorted at Sonny

Shanon let the big Shire grab him then gold him against himself he wrapped his arms around the big horse and then looked at Sonny with the smile still on his face. "Well it looks like i aint going anywhere for the mean time.. So yeah!" he chuckled. He tryed to move but was stuck firm against the gelding. He didn't mind thought it was fun and cute.

Sonny laughed and then petted Grace and she walked over.

Jacob snorted again at Sonny and loosened hs hold on Shanon and nickered to him. He had already grown attached to the boy

Shanon gave the gelding one more pat then sliped out from underneath him. He smiled a sorry look at the gelding then he went and patted Grace again then walked out the gate. He looked around for the horses.

Sonny smiled and she climbed over the fence and watched as Grace galloped off and Jacob pout for a moment before thundering after Grace.
Sonny smiled and walked to the next paddock which held the two andalusians. the two walked in and without whistling the two came up. The black stallion and the white mare. The stallion pinned his ears and snorted at Shanon, turning around he galloped back off"that's Badger...and like a badger he;s foul tempered... And the white mare Peace. she's a total oppisite of Badger."
Peace nickered to Shanon and nuzzled him in greeting then she pulled her head back.... then out of nowhere she brought her head towards him and licked his cheek.

Shanon smiled, "Yuck!" he said, sacasticly then patted the mares face, she was pretty and nice nature. He nodded his head at Sonny. "Hi Peace!" he said, walking around to her side and stroking her everywhere.

Peace flicked her tail, standing where she was
"Badger and Peace are quite close actually... they aren't related and they were born on the same day."Sonny said with a smile"and they grew up here, together. Actually Peace is going to have a foal in a few days."she smiled and glanced at her stomach which had bulged with the foal inside her.
