New Arrival: Shanon & Lone Arrow.

Shanon smiled, thats the Sonny he knew, the happy and awesome one. He took her hand and jumped up. "It sounds great!" he said, chuckling. He then jogged over to Lone Arrow and leaped up onto his back, he waited for Sonny to get on Karly before he cantered off. "So do you like Derek?" he asked.

Sonny walked over to Karly, vaulting onto her, nudging Karly into a canter beside Arrow"no way"she said"he's just a childhood friend... Well actually i never really liked him like that. See Derek's actually very sensitive about being rejected by people he likes... friends or family.. So i just act happy around him.."she explained

Shanon looked at her as he cantered Arrow. "Yeah but he is acting around stupidly with you.." he said, then looked ahead. "Why is he so sensitive?" he asked.

Sonny shugged"dunno"she replied"i think it has something to do with his family.."she slowed Karly to a trot as they went around the lake and through another path.

Shanon nodded, "Oh ok.. Poor guy." he said, then he to slowed Arrow down. He followed behind Sonny, as she went in and out of the trees and around the lake, he smiled, this place was awesome. After a while of riding they came to the huge cross country course. He grinned, "Just what I like!!" he laughed. Lone Arrow felt his eagerness, he pranced in spot then reared slightly, also letting out a whinny.

Karly pricked her ears at the cross country course, she hadn't been here for a while. She stopped as Sonny asked her to and she pawed the ground, restless but not willing to go without being told.
Sonny petted Karly and looked at Shanon"My parents and i had built this course"she said

Shanon patted his highly strung stallion, "Whoa easy boy!" he chuckled as he hung on to the stallions mane and squeezed gently with his legs to hold himself on. He smiled then looked at Sonny, "Oh real? That's awesome, it looks like you've done a great job on it too!" he said, smirking at her.

Sonny laughed softly"yeah i guess so"she said and suddenly she nudged Karly firmly and the mare took off, leaping easily and gracefully over the different sized logs. After not too long they came to the other side and Sonny slowed Karly to a halt and she looked back at Shanon with a smile.

Shanon didn't hesitate, he nudged Arrow into a smooth collected canter and cleared each jump with ease. He went around the course and slowed at Karly and Sonny's side, he smiled, that was awesome as! Good work out for the horses." he said as Arrow pranced around wanting to keep doing it.

Sonny smiled"you can do it again if ya want"she said"i don't care."
Karly lowered her head, shaking it and she snorted softly.

Shanon smiled gratefully at her, "Thanks, I'll take Arrow around again, to settle him!" he said, putting his calves to the stallion gently. Arrow jumped forward, almost making Shanon fly off the back of him. Shanon clung on and steered him around the course extremely fast, they were basically galloping flat out, which was pretty dangerous, but Shanon couldn't really slow his crazy horse down. They finally finished and Shanon managed to stop his tired stallion next to Karly, "Good boy, now you will be a bit calmer!" he said patting his neck.

Sonny laughed softly"what do you want to do?"she asked"go back or find soemthing else to do?"

Shanon glanced at her, "Umm probably go back.." he said, as he sat up straighter on Arrow. "So will Derek be there?" he asked, hesitantly.

"doubt it"Sonny said"he would've stayed if he could."she smiled at Shanon slightly and then turned Karly aound, totting her around the cross country course, around the lake and into the trail that had led them to here from the ranch.

Shanon looked after her confused kinda. Why did he have to go anyway? He wondered, then he placed his heels to Arrows side and pressed gently sending the stallion into a beautiful canter. He caught up to Sonny and Karly with ease.

Karly whinnied as Arrow got up beside her and they soon came to the ranch and Sonny went into Karly's paddock, unlocking the gate and dismounting her. She watched as Karly trotted to Jester and Sonny held the gate open for Shanon and Arrow. Derek's car had gone but the trailor was here.. looks like her planned to stay for a while then..

Shanon laughed at his horse then he trotted him through the gate and into the paddock. He smiled and dismounted. He groaned softly when he saw Derek's trailer still here, he decided to lay off him now though. He couldn't be bothered fighting for Sonny, if Sonny wanted him then she would tell Derek she didn't want anything to do with him.

Sonny sighed softly and then as Shanon came in she shut the gate so the horses didn't try to getout..
"hey, Shanon.."Sonny said, about to say something but trailing off"oh, nevermind, don't worry about it."she looked over at Karly, not wanting to meet eye contact with him

Shanon glanced at Sonny as she said his name then rubbed him off. He shrugged then jumped over the fence.. He sighed and walked toward the barn.. "Hey Sonny.. Anything need to be done around here?" he asked.. Wanting some work so that he didn't have to meet up with Derek again.

"hm"Sonny said idly, thinking as she slowly followed him"not really"she replied and checked the time"just do what you want. i gotta go to work."she then ran into her house and within only 1 minute she was out on the street and running down the road.

Shanon raised his eyebrow at her then shrugged, he didn't know she had a job. He sighed then walked over to his ute and trailer and got out Arrows grooming kit and halter and lead rope. He yawned sleepily then walked back over to the paddock whistled to Arrow, he watched the stallion come running, then he put his halter on and lead him out of the paddock and over to his trailer. He tied him to it then started to brush his silky coat.

Sonny arrived at work 5 minutes late"sorry i'm late!"she said"i'll work over time because of it"
a guy who looked around 25, intimidating big build with black ahir and dark brown eyes. His name was Steve"hey don't worry about Sonny, you don't need to work over time"he said with a smile. He was the manager of the cafe where Sonny was working at the moment.
"but i will"Sonny said adn then got straight into work, getting peoples orders and then taking their stuff out to them


after an hour Derek drove into Sonn'y driveway, parking near his trailor. He turning off the gas and got out, closing the door, he figured Sonny must be at work. He glanced at Shanon and then walked to the paddock with Karly and Jester and he whistled. Jester trotted up with Karly following slowly"hey boy"he said with a smile and petted him when Karly came up"Hey, Karly"he said, kissing her muzzle.

Shanon smiled and stood back and admired Arrow, he was gorgeous, his coat shone like diamonds. He then patted Arrows head, then he heard a car turn up, he looked over and saw it was Derek, he groaned softly to himself then looked back at Arrow and got his saddle and bridle out of the trunk. He smiled once his stallion was finished being tacked up.

Derek looekd over at Shanon and Arrow and grunted to himself. What did Sonny see in him? He was a weakling and a coward. Nothing great about him.


[Life Revolves Around Studying]

Shanon rolled his eyes to himself as he turned Arrow around and pulled down the strrips and mounted his horse. He sighed then kinda smiled at Derek politley. He then pressed his heels to Arrow and made him trot off. Shanon didn't know where he was going but he was going to go find something interesting to do.
