Re: A frighting experience.
Zed finally quickly skidded to a halt, his claws filing against the concrete of the road. "I'm not sure." Zed answered truthfully, he knew where he wanted to go, just not where he was going.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla skidded to a stop also, almost banging head first into Rough. She starred at Rough "Why do you hate humans so much?" she asked, curiously.

Re: A frighting experience.
"Because their just so...." Zed answered with a slight growl, trailing off. EEven just thinking of them made his snort in disgust.
Re: A frighting experience.
"Because there so?....." Kayla asked. She didn't mind Humans...As long as they weren't cruel to her. But for now, staying in the streets was okay...because she had Rough. She starred at him, waiting for an answer.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed stayed silent as he padded along the dark grey concrete, almost gravel like. He pricked his ears at the sight of a distance mixture of colourful lights on tall buildings, home was approaching.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla sighed, she was a little annoyed Rough hadn't answered. But he must have his reasons. She padded along behind him, silent.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed slightly picked up the pace, but it was easily noticed. He slided his ears forward as he could smell the stenches of gas and petrol from the polluting vechiles, food from stands and small shops, he could hear the horns of cars and loud murmur of people in buzzing conversations.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla picked up her pace also. She was just behind Rough now. She sniffed the air, It stunk. She didn't know how Rough could live here. She sighed, she was missing her home. She was longing for a human. She kept her thoughts to herself though, but perhaps she could get Rough to somehow see that Humans weren't that bad....

Re: A frighting experience.
Rough glanced back at Kayla with ears pricked forward, wondering what was of her thoughts. She seemed deep in a daze while she was running up behind him.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla saw Rough look at her, and quickly snapped her head up. She gave a quick smile, hoping he couldn't read her thoughts. There's No way Rough will see good in Humans, so your just wasting you're time! She thought to herself. She sighed, then looked up wondering how long till they got to wherever Rough was heading....Which was most likely his home.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed slightly slowed, walking into a deep, dark secret entrace like thing that had slowly decayed and broken off from the abandoned buildings, making a small, discusting passage way without being caught by humans. He wondered whether Kayla would be able to take it.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla glanced around, this place was a little dark...but she had Rough with her. She stumbled a little on a crack in the hard cold concrete, but she quickly got her footing back. She picked up her pace to keep up with Rough.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed continued on, quickening his pace. He slid his ears back, but not in frustration nor anger. Who knew what could be sneaking around here, and his ears were extreamly delicate. He lifted his paw as he felt a cold liquid absorb it, leaving droplets on his paw. He jumped over of what he thought was a small puddle that had dropped from the cracks above, but the water went over his head. He quickly raised his head and took a large breathe. "Can you swim?" Zed asked Kayla, hoping she wasn't near enough to unexpecticaly fall into the water.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla stopped walking, "Um, I don't know...Ive never had a chance to try." she said. She put her paw slightly into the water, then placed in back on the concrete.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed swum what he though was where Kayla was standing, using his acute hearing. He felt the water grow more shallow, which told him everything. He waited for her, so she could be near him in case she started to drown.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla jumped in, her head went under at first, but she soon came back up. She kicked her paws, and she was soon swimming. She smiled to herself, but stayed next to Rough, in case she started to sink.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed shifted so Kayla's paw her on his back, he wasn't risking anything. He swum until the water grew more shallow, walking until it was up to his paws. He smiled faintly then shifted away from Kayla, so she had the front half of her body back in her control.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla was happy to be back on solid ground. She shook off, sending water everywhere. She gave a quick smile "Thanks." she said, then looked around.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed nodded then continued his way through the small, tight secret tunnel. He could feel a clostrafobic feeling crawling onto him.
Re: A frighting experience.
Kayla followed after Rough. She felt a little cold after that swim. She sighed. "So where exactly are we going?" she asked, starring at the walls, as she crawled through the tight dark tunnel.

Re: A frighting experience.
Zed shook his saturated coat. "Back to the alley." He answered her. "If you don't want to I could find you a home." Zed said with a sigh.
Re: A frighting experience.
[Tehehe, I think you mean "Rough"]
Kayla narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean by, a home?' she asked Rough. She had her ears pricked, was he suggesting she should find a home with a human? She didn't really wanna leave Rough. He was nice. She was deep in thought as she waited for his reply.

Re: A frighting experience.
Ohh...My bad.]
Rough slightly tossed his matted tail. "With one of those...." Rough paused, deciding how to put it. "Humans.." He said with great discust.

Re: A frighting experience.
"Oh..." Kayla said slowly. She thought about for a moment. She had two choices.... she could live in a dark damp, and cold alley with Rough... or she could live in a house with the Humans.... She looked back at Rough. "Err... I dunno." she said. "I don't really wanna stay with the humans. I would rather stay with...you." she said, looking away from Rough.

Re: A frighting experience.
Rough halted, and stared back at her. Was she serious? She could spend the rest of her life pampered and warm, feed and cared for....But she wanted to stay with him...In his dark, cold, empty alley and have to listen to the screeches of vechiles at day and the howls of strays at night. He didn't understand, how could she pass up such a offer? "Are you sure?" He said.
