Riding Stables on a Tropical Island.

Jason smiled towards her and reached into his pocket, pulling out some money. There was only $10.00 but he shrugged. That would do. "Yeah okay, maybe we should walk. I want to give Storm some water and something to eat," he told her. The boy brushed a hand down the stallions neck and clicked his tongue, heading into the stables. It was a little bit hotter in the stables. The boy walked towards Storm's stall and opened the door. He left it open and headed to get some food for his horse and a bucket of fresh water. He reappeared with two buckets in his hand a few minutes later. He noticed that Storm was waiting patiently outside his stall.

Tiarni followed Jason and done the same with Tropic. She left her mare refreshed and in a good mood, "Okay. Lets go!" The girl said cheerfully while heading towards the door. It was really hot outside, hopefully it would be cooler in the shop when they got there. She started walking, waiting for Jason to catch up.

Jason gave Storm a pat and walked away from the stables, following Tiarni. He heard Storm nicker a goodbye and chuckled. He caught up to Tiarni and smiled. "Are you normally the one to welcome all the new people?" he asked. Tiarni seemed way more friendly then she had been at the beach. Maybe she just had to get use to them.

Tiarni slightly slowly and fell in step with Jason. She shook her head, "No. Not really," The girl admitted, keeping her eyes on the corner they were about to turn into the main street where they would buy things. She could see the store, it was called 'Foodworks'. Tiarni slightly sped up her pace towards the small market. She walked in, holding the door open for Jason. A rush of cold air hitting her. It felt really good.

Jason watched her curiously. She still seemed a little quiet. He fastened his pace to keep up with her. He smiled as she kept the door open for him. "Thanks, now what are we going to buy?" he asked and stood next to her. It was way colder in the store. The feeling was good.

Tiarni shrugged with a chuckle, she actually had no idea. "Um.. I don't really know. I will go get some drinks," She murmured and grabbed a bottle of cold lemonade and a few plastic cups. The girl grabbed a basket and put the items in, "What else shall we get?" She asked, looking up at him.

Jason followed Tiarni and looked around, "Maybe something to eat," he told her with a smile. He wasn't sure what they were going to do. The boy walked down one of the isles, looking for something that they could eat. He stopped in front of one of the shelves that had chips on it, "How about chips?" he asked.

Tiarni raised her eyebrows, "Sure. Which flavour?" She asked, glancing at the bags of chips. There were a variety of flavours to choose from. The girl glanced down the isle and saw some chocolate. She grabbed a bar of Hazelnut and walked back to Jason, chuckling.

Jason shrugged, he didn't know what flavor chips she liked. "You can choose, I'm not fussy," he told her with a smile. The boy glanced at the chocolate in her hand and chuckled, "Are you sure the chocolate will survive in the heat? It is pretty hot outside."

Tiarni grinned, "Hopefully," She laughed and grabbed a bag of Salt and Vinegar chips from the shelf and tucked the chocolate under her arm. "Anything else?" The girl asked, glancing down the aisle. So far they had chips, chocolate and lemonade.

Jason shook his head, "I don't think we do," he muttered and started to walk towards the cash out. He took the items from Tiarni and gave them to the lady. "Hello, how are you today?" she asked the two teenagers with a smile. Jason smiled back, "Good," he told her. "That's going to be $7.25 cents," the lady said and he handed her his money. "$2.75 change," she smiled, "Have a good day." Jason smiled and took the items and change, heading for the door, he held it open for Tiarni.

Tiarni frowned slightly as Jason paid for the lot but followed him out, flashing him a sweet smile as she walked out the door. She scanned her eyes down the stores, "Hm." The girl mused and walked down the footpath towards a fruit store. She walked in and got 2 red apples, paying for them with her money. Tiarni walked out and held one out to Jason, "One for Storm and one for Tropic," She giggled and started walking back down the road towards the stables.

Jason walked after Tiarni and chuckled. He took the apple and pulled out the 75 cents from his pocket and slipped it into her pocket. He wasn't going to let her pay for something for his horse or him. The boy hoped that he put the money there unnoticed. "Thanks," he muttered to Tiarni.

Tiarni chuckled, noticing him put 75 cents into her pocket. She bumped into him sideways purposely, "Hey! You paid for everything we bought back there. That ain't fair," The girl sighed and continued walking. She could see the stables up ahead.

The boy put his arms out to the side and laughed, "You really think I would let you pay?" he told her. Jason walked towards the stables chuckling to himself. He glanced at the chocolate, "Do you think it survived?" he asked her with a smile.

Tiarni shrugged with a chuckle, "Uh.. maybe?" She asked uncertainly. The girl walked up to the stable entrance and fed Tropic her apple. She gently stroked her mare's face and kissed her nose gently. Tiarni gently tugged on Jason's shirt and skipped up some wooden stairs towards the haylofts. She finally got up there and noticed the triangle window open. A nice, cool breeze blew through the window. The girl sat on one of the hay bales and waited for Jason.

Jason chuckled and headed towards Storm's stall. He was greeted with a little nudge. He pulled the apple out of his pocket and fed it to his horse. The boy felt Tiarni pull at his shirt and turned to see her disappear up some stairs. Jason gave Storm a stroke down his neck and jogged after the girl. Near the top, he slowed to a walk and noticed her sitting on a hay bale. He sat down on the opposite one and smiled.

Tiarni watched him walk back. It was a lot cooler up here surprisingly, "We aren't supposed to be up here but I hang out here alot so don't worry. I've never gotten caught," She mentioned with a giggle and took the chocolate, opening it. The girl snapped a piece off and popped it in her mouth. She snapped another piece off, "Are you good at catching things in your mouth?" Tiarni asked.

Jason watched her, was she serious? He shrugged, "Depends if you're a good throw," he chuckled. The boy grabbed the soft drink and poured it into two cup. He leaned over to put one of the cups closer to her and took a sip of his cup. The boy sat back and watched her with a grin.

Tiarni watched him pour the drink, "Ready?" She said and pulled her hand back, then raised it, throwing the chocolate into the air and waiting to see if he would catch it. The girl grabbed her drink and took a sip.

Jason watched the piece of chocolate and moved his head to the side, catching it in his mouth. "Mhm, good throw," he chuckled and chewed the piece of chocolate. He took another piece of chocolate and grinned, "Can you catch?" he asked and threw the piece lightly into the air.

Tiarni put her drink down, "Perfect," She smiled and watched as he threw a piece of chocolate into the air and leaned forward slightly, catching it neatly in her mouth. "Nice throw," The girl murmured and suddenly heard some footsteps coming up the stairs. The boss's office was just across from the hayloft and that was probably him. Tiarni's eyes widened in alarm, she rolled off the hay bale and onto the ground, "Get down," She whispered urgently to Jason.

Jason glanced towards the stairs and rolled onto the ground next to Tiarni. He glanced at her and chuckled slightly. "Nice one, choose somewhere that we could get caught," he whispered in her ear but kept his head near her. The boy glanced down and noticed he had tipped his drink over. Jason could feel the wetness on his back. He cussed under his breath.

Tiarni shoved her elbow into his arm and rolled her eyes. She chuckled silently as she had noticed he had tipped over his lemonade. The girl turned her head to look at Jason, her breathing was light and she was unconcerned. The footsteps continued, finally they reached the top. The boss looked around and walked into his office, quietly shutting the door behind him. Tiarni exhaled loudly, slowly sitting up, "Close," She said quietly.

Jason laughed softly. "Yeah, close." He sat up and put a hand on his back. It felt disgusting having lemonade on his shirt. The boy bit his lip and looked out side. It still looked hot. "Do you think it will dry?" he asked Tiarni and chuckled.
